Bedroom Suite - Norfolk
In this 18th century inn turned family home, the brief was to create a bedroom for a 17 year old that would grow with him into the future. The space now seamlessly blends modern and traditional, with dedicated zones for sleeping, relaxing and studying. Travels to Thailand inspired the layered textures and wood accents whilst the colour palette brings more light into the space.

Bathroom - Whitstable
My clients wanted to re-design their main bathroom space to add sophistication, a feeling of luxury, and larger shower. Inspired by their love of national parks and mountainous landscapes the bathroom encapsulates the invigorating qualities of the natural environment through both the colour palette and textures. Reconfiguring the layout creates a feeling of spaciousness and allows the stunning new walk in shower to become the focal point of the room.

I commissioned Amy to help me with the redesign of certain areas of my house which included a large lounge which we rarely used, the kitchen and the sitting room area leading into the dining room, in effect most of the ground floor of the house.
Amy came to visit me and my husband several times to ascertain what we were after in terms of the design and what our tastes were regarding colour, pattern, furnishings, light fittings, floor coverings etc. She also asked us questions about our life style, i.e. how we wanted to use the space as well as any dissatisfaction either of us had with the current layout and decoration. Amy noted that we had just retired so our requirements and use of the ground floor layout was not working for either of us.
I cannot fault Amy’s comprehensive, professional style and standards in what must have been a difficult experience trying to ‘nail’ what we were after and the changes we required, basically because we didn’t know ourselves! Amy took time and asked the right questions which eventually resulted in her designs which we both agreed would be perfect for the house and the way we wanted to live as well as producing room layouts including furnishings, colours etc we both loved.
I would highly recommend Amy to anyone wanting inspiration and/or suggested changes that enhance lifestyle, comfort and beauty in the place we call ‘home’. Amy listens and then suggests opportunities ranging from large changes to smaller design enhancements that make such a difference to personal space. She is a highly talented designer with great insight and understanding of individual client requirements.

My wife and I have always struggled to appreciate colour matching. Enter Amy who kindly agreed to help us upgrade our bungalow which had been painted uniformly grey in every room. She took the time to talk and to understand our taste and what we hoped to achieve. She recommended not only potential colour choices but also possible contrasting options such as feature wall wallpapers and some appropriate wall art. She identified where materials could be sourced and made sure they were within our agreed costs.
